UK POP MUSIC STAR BILLIE CROSSES THE GREAT POND IN HER FIRST U.S. TV SPECIAL

Billie will introduce her three big hits, "Because We Want To," "Girlfriend" and "She Wants You," as well as chat freely about her likes and dislikes, musical influences, favorite actors and other personal tidbits. The special will also feature clips of her UK television appearances.

At the ripe age of 15, Billie became the first British female solo artist to debut at #1 on the UK pop chart with the single "Because We Want To." She followed up with two other chart-topping hits, "Girlfriend" and "She Wants You." Born with a flair for performing, Billie joined various singing and theater groups in her hometown of Swindon before winning a scholarship to a London drama school. After compiling a long list of modeling, acting and performance credits while still in her early teens, Billie eventually set her sights on her first love - music - to spectacular results.

Already making waves on the American music scene, "She Wants You" is a hit on the club circuit and her debut album, "Honey to the B," will be released here May 18 on Virgin Records.

Mark Angotti (VH1's "Behind the Music") is producing the special, along with Virgin Records.
